16 Jul Byron Allen Featured In Milken Institute’s Community Discussion On Racial Justice and Centering the Black Community
Summer Series 2020
While it’s clear that COVID-19 does not discriminate, images and headlines make it equally clear that our systems and institutions do. The Milken Institute is committed to prioritizing and listening to Black Americans, who have been oppressed and marginalized by structural racism. We recognize our collective responsibility to partake in the work of addressing health and economic disparities rooted in systemic racism.
We are committed to using our platform and activating our community to amplify Black voices and catalyze changes to systems sustaining racial inequality. The Milken Institute welcomes Summer Series attendees to a unique discussion on racial justice, centering the needs, experiences, and leadership of the Black community. This discussion will strengthen the confidence of our greater network in tackling internal inequalities in our workplaces as we strive together for a more equitable society.
