The deal was negotiated by ESMP Head of Acquisitions, Chris Charalambous, and filmmaker Scott Christian Sava’s Blue Dream Studios.

Directed by veteran animators Scott Christian Sava (Casper, Mighty Morphin PowerRangers) and Tony Bancroft (Mulan, The Lion King), Animal Crackers follows the Huntington family as their lives are turned upside-down by a late distant relative who leaves behind an old traveling circus. With the help of magical animal crackers that turn the consumer into whatever animal they have eaten, lead characters ‘Owen’ and ‘Zoe’ (voiced by John Krasinski and Emily Blunt) attempt to bring the circus back to life. Ian McKellen, Danny DeVito, Sylvester Stallone, Patrick Warburton, Harvey Fierstein, Wallace Shawn, Raven-Symoné, and Gilbert Gottfried also provide voices.
